MTS says offers free connection to COVID fighting doctors
MOSCOW, Apr 30 (PRIME) -- Major Russian mobile operator MTS has started providing free services to the medical personnel engaged in fighting against the coronavirus first in Moscow and the republic of Tatarstan, on the Volga, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Thursday.
“Specially for the doctors and medical personnel involved in treatment of the patients with COVID-19 in Russia, MTS offered a tariff of 600 minutes of voice calls, 600 SMSs, limitless calls to the MTS numbers and 10 GB of mobile traffic per month. There is no payment in the first three months. In three months the tariff will remain beneficial and will cost 200 rubles per month,” the spokesperson said.
More than 5,000 employees of infectious diseases hospitals have been getting instructed on subscription from Thursday.
The program will expand to the other regions as well.
